    What is the BTU Output on the Big Kahuna Burner?

    65000 BTU.

    What is the correct temperature for cooking a turkey and for how long?

    The correct temperature for the oil for cooking a turkey is between 325° and 350°. The proper time for cooking a turkey is 3 1/2 minutes per pound.

    My burner won't light, is it broken?

    Not necessarily. Most modern propane tanks have built in safety mechanisms that will cause the propane to trickle out or not flow at all if opened to fast. Close all valves and wait 2-3 minutes. Slowly open the valve on the propane tank (count to 15 while opening). Next open the "T" valve on the regulator hose to about 10% and you should hear a nice propane flow. Give it a light and adjust the flame to the desired size for cooking. If no flame occurs please call Eastman Outdoors Customer Service at 1 (800) 241-4833.

    Eastman Outdoors warrantys all of it's products against all manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of thirty days from the date of original purchase.
